The Dinner

Well, it's done.

C's 30th birthday dinner at The Dining Room at Ritz-Carlton, that is.

And I am in such a food-coma this morning that I can not bear to write about it. Suffice it to say that we sat down at 8:15 and didn't leave the Ritz until 12:30.

It was a fabulous, exquisite, divine meal of which there is only one absolutely mediocre photograph taken on my Treo.

But who needs photographs when you have the memories of each dish, each wine pairing, and a spectacular and special meal with your best friend burned indelibly on your mind forever?
