My first piece for KQED is up!
Yup, I'm proud to say that I'll be writing for Bay Area Bites, every other Sunday (until I can work up the discipline to write weekly).
My first post is entitled, Wine's Life - An Introduction to a Series. Take a look, and tell me what you think!

Congratulations! I look forward to reading your pieces (I just checked out the first one and thought it was great - my parents would sometimes pour milk into wineglasses for my sister and I when we ate with the 'grown-ups' and I know just what you mean about wanting to fill your glass with the grown-up juice).

Good job Ms F.
Your writing dances off the page and into my head. Very engaging. I hope to learn to be better at wine tasting with your help.

Teri - there was something really magical about the grown-up glasses, wasn't there? My dad, from time to time, would give me a fingertip's worth of wine, diluted with water... that was such a special treat.
Sam - Thank you SO much for the kind words! I've been learning a lot from my friend, M, at her tastings, and hope to be able to translate some of that in blog format.
